Our Team

Meet the team dedicated to your care. With connection and clarity at the center of all we do, we work together to create a personalized plan—so you’ll always know what’s happening, how we can help, and the path forward.

Laura Holman

Hi, I’m Laura Holman — Co-Founder of Wild Roots Chiropractic, business manager, birth doula, childbirth educator, and most importantly… a mom who’s walked the same hard road you might be on right now.

Years ago, I was the exhausted, overwhelmed young mom sitting in waiting rooms, searching for someone — anyone — who could help me understand what was going on with my baby. After the traumatic birth of our first son, we struggled through feeding issues, colic, failure to thrive, severe eczema, allergies, and what felt like a million unanswered questions.

And while Dr. Jake was just starting chiropractic school at the time, we both knew: there had to be a better way. That experience is what led us — together — down the path of nervous-system-based care and ultimately to the work we both do today.

It also lit a fire in me to become a birth doula & childbirth educator, so I could walk alongside other women during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum — helping them feel informed, empowered, and never alone as they enter motherhood.

Today, I run the behind-the-scenes of Wild Roots, but you’ll also see me in the waiting room, loving on your babies, answering your questions, and cheering you on as your family begins to thrive again.

I know what it feels like to feel unseen and unsure. And I also know what it feels like to finally exhale — when someone really gets it.

This practice isn’t just a business for us. It’s the overflow of our own healing journey.

We built Wild Roots as the place we wished we had back then — a calm, safe, hope-filled space where families are seen, heard, and supported from the inside out.

When I’m not at the office, I’m usually chasing after our three boys — Kaleb, Jaxon, and Dylan — or out walking with our Goldendoodle, Hazel. I love gardening, baking sourdough, reading something birthy, and soaking up the Colorado sunshine with my people.

Lauren Whitney

Lauren is one of those people who instantly makes you feel seen, heard, and supported — which is exactly why we’re thrilled to have her on the Wild Roots team as our Lead Care Advocate.

Lauren’s background is rooted in both science and soul. She holds an MBA and a degree in Exercise Science with a focus in Pre-Allied Health from Ottawa University in Kansas, where she also played collegiate soccer. A Colorado native, she grew up surrounded by mountains, movement, and a deep love for health and the outdoors.

Her passion for holistic healing led her to pursue certifications in Nutrition Coaching, Life Coaching, Health Restoration, and Naturopathy—all centered around uncovering the root cause of health challenges, not just covering up symptoms.

At Wild Roots, Lauren combines her clinical knowledge with compassion and care to help our families feel empowered and informed, especially when it comes to understanding their INSiGHT scans and care plans. Whether she’s walking a nervous parent through their child’s scans or celebrating big wins in healing—Lauren brings a calming presence and deep expertise to every interaction.
